Backup doesnt seem to be working since 9400

Before I upgraded to version 9400 I used to be able to backup OpManager in about an hour. Now I cant seem to get OpManager backed up in a reasonable time in the Data Maintenance. Today I have let the backup go for 7 hours and it still says "backup in progress" I havent been able to let it go longer because we cant go after hours without OpManager monitoring our data center. I upgraded to 9410 to see if it fixes the issue. But it still just says "backup in progress"
