Availability, Ping tweaking?

Hi App-Support!

I�ve many monitors and sometimes Application Manager brings an Availability Error, monitored server xy is not responding, but if i manually ping the server xy everything is ok. On the second poll AppManager brings an ok message.
I think the ping which AppManager send on every poll is in our big environment to sensitive, is it possible to "tune/tweak" this?
My workaround now is to set up "Poll 2 times consecutively before reporting the monitor is down" under "Configure Alerts", but its only a workaround, not an really long-term solution...

So please help me.
