[SOLVED]AUTOSTART OPMANAGER (ubuntu 12.04)

Hi all,

Been using OpManager for years (on Windows). Not that friendly to get a autostart (chkconfig) going for OpManager.

Tried this:  https://forums.manageengine.com/topic/opmanager-as-a-linux-service (NO LUCK)
Tried this:  https://support.zoho.com/portal/manageengine/helpcenter/articles/running-opmanager-as-linux-service-with-auto-start-after-server-reboot (NO LUCK)

The closest I can get is:

root@opmanager:/opt/ManageEngine/OpManager/bin# /etc/init.d/opmanager start
mv: cannot stat `service.log': No such file or directory

1) Is there a painless way of getting OpManager to autostart??
2) Running OpManager 9450, my top Menu bar is CUT OFF (tried different browsers and resolutions). This is a clean install.  Is there a painless way of getting this fixed without having to upgrade to a newer  version?

Thank you.
