We'd very much appreciate it if the Technician Auto Assignment were updated to be more flexible. It'd be terrific if we could have multiple autoassignment "rules", based upon criteria such as the day of the week or the time of the day. From there, being able to add certain tech or groups of techs (filtered via role?), and set various options would be perfect.
That would allow us to account for different assignments during holidays vs non-holidays, weekdays vs weekends, different times of the day, etc etc.
This is a function that many other Helpdesk products have, and is a definite shortcoming. Please seriously consider beefing up the capabilities and flexibility of Auto Assignment.
