Associate Minor Software Versions
Hi,
It is possible to link versions of software without increasing the license numbers?
For example, when you install SQL Server Developer 2005 it installs multiple packages which are picked up separately by SDP. When you associate these with the main SQL installation SDP then increases the number of installations, when then gives the impression we are under licensed.
There are quite a few Microsoft installs like this.
How is everyone getting around this
