Asset scan using another name
Hi All,
We name our assets computer name as the serial number in the assets database because the computer names change when we assign the asset to another user
When you run a scan it uses the computer name (serial number) to scan the computer.
Is it possible to use another field to use as the name of the computer to scan?
i.e would it be possible to scan on the resource tag or something where we can put the actual computer name so that it picks up the details of the workstation?
