Hi Users,

We are in-progress of analysing  Asset Reservation feature in ServiceDesk Plus and We need your help !! 

Feature:  The asset reservation feature makes it easy for end users to reserve company-owned equipment from a centralised location. 

Feature Aspects:  
  • End user will have asset reservation section in their self service portal(Home) page, so that the reservation can be easily done.
  • Reservation page will have advanced filters so that users can comfortably refine the asset list and choose the required one.
  • User can reserve assets in advance (ie) ahead of time like reserving assets for next week time line.
  • Users can choose and register more than one asset at a time.
  • Appropriate loan entry will get created when the asset is checked out to the user. 
  • Flexibility for the user to view his current bookings and also to cancel/extend them is provided. 
  • Email notification on actions like reserving/canceling/extending assets is supported.

It would be really helpful if you could let us know below details so that we could analyse better: 

  • What type of assets (like laptops, mobile phones etc) are loned by your employees?
  • Do end users loan anything apart from physical assets (like laptops etc)?
  • Do your employees loan any services ? If so, could name us few.
