- We cannot successfully edit non-CI type assets in the Asset nor the CMDB tab. (Attempting results in a Failure error)
- We cannot modify CI types in the CMDB tab. (i.e. changing a tablet from a workstation CI type to a tablet CI type.When done, nothing happens... no error.)
- We cannot modify Asset types in the Asset tab. (Also causes a Failure error, which is probably tied to the first issue in this list)
When I took over, there were many edits to be made and I cannot make them. Wrong or incomplete information, assets not in the proper category, and so on. The only way I can make any edits is to delete an entry and make a new one. Not ideal, not acceptable. I was hopeful that the update would have solved at least one of these issues at the very least. No joy.
We are going to perform a manual backup in ServiceDesk Plus by this evening and send it to the support team. My only hope is that the flaws are found and can be addressed, soon.
I am posting this here just to see if anybody else is having this same issue.
