I know, you will all be interested to know what is there in store for the next major update of SD+. I am non-commital
on the version number and the release date here, but you can expect it by the end of this year . ( May be, few features can be covered in the couple of Service Pack releases which has been planned before the year end update.)
Here is the list of features that share a place in the year end update :

- Option to view reports by the manager.
- Keep me Signed in.
- Pre-defined templates for Requests
- Request Approval
- Mandatory Fields for closing a request.
- Sub tasks for requests (so that multiple technician can handle a request)
- Bulk Edit of Requests
- Drafts in Request Reply
- Periodic Synchronization with Active directory.
- Option to view requests raised within the department by a requester.
- Option to enable/disable My Details from Self-Service Portal
- Mark Configurations in SDP as deleted.
- Global View to show all information instead of showing the top 7.
- Add User information while adding a new request
- Option to add the actual worked date under Add Time Entry
- Support for inline images in solutions, requests
- Option to notify technician before the request getting overdued
There are few more to be added to this list. I will update this thread as and when i get an update.
