Approval Process

Currently I have a Service Catalog task set up. part of this is that a number of people need to approve the submission.

Since the person who can approve is not the same for each submission, this is manually done via Actions - Submit for Approval.

At this point I enter a minimum of 2 people (sending an E-mail). Regardless of whether or not these people have approval status set on their account, they are able to approve or reject (which is fine by me!). The problem is, no matter how many people I send the approval request to, the first answer is the one that sticks.

I need the approval status to be -

Approval Pending - if 1 or more people have yet to choose
Approval Denied - if 1 or more people have rejected the approval
Approval Accepted - if ALL people have accepted the approval

Maybe I am doing things wrong, but is there a way I can get the above to work? Without it then the whole process is pointless and I would be forced to use an alternative solution (my manager is pushing for Sharepoint but I want to keep Service Desk!)
