AppManager MySQL on Windows 2008 does not shutdown with 'net stop <AppMan service>'

Hey Folks,

When we shutdown Applications Manager using the services.mmc or 'net stop' command, the mysqld-nt process keeps running.  The only way we can stop it is to either kill the process via task manager (not recommended) or run 'shutdownApplicationManager.bat -force'

We've found this is an issue with Applications Manager on Windows when there's over about 200 monitors.

It's annoying but not the end of the world.. except now that we come to best practices that recommends we restart the applications manager instances at least once every couple of weeks.

I've tried scripting up the necessary commands in a .cmd file (see attached) but when I call the 'shutdownApplicationsManager.bat -force' it throws a 'pause' in there somewhere which breaks my .cmd script.

Any ideas on how I can get this to shutdown cleanly or fix my script to be able to do it?

We are running Application Manager 9.3 using the supplied MySQL on a Windows 2008 64-bit Standard Edition box with 8Gb of RAM.
