I apologize if this is my inexperience, but is there any way to perform Software Monitoring via PC AND UID? The reason I ask, is we have a few servers that users can remote onto and access software that is installed directly to the server. This in turn shows a ton of usage, but I can't seem to see WHO is using the application/how much/when.
It most likely is just a configuration I need to apply, but from the software metering page, I am just seeing
Device Name
Usage Count
Usage
Duration
Is it possible to get more granular?
I.e. User 1 on Computer 1 accessed Chrome 19 times
User 2 on Computer 1 accessed Chrome 2 times
User 1 accessed Chrome 5 times in the last 7 days
User 2 accessed Chrome 0 times in the last 7 days (or whatever date range we apply)
The reason I ask, I want to see if we are utilizing licenses that AREN'T actively being used. I'd like to be able to free up licenses and potentially look into getting rid of or adding licenses based on how many people are using it/when they are using it.
This would help because we have a few network licenses for software, and I'd like to understand peak usage and be able to identify whether or not we need to increase/decrease the network licenses for software. On top of that, i'd like to be able to check to see if User 3 has ever accessed the application/when the person has used it.
