We currently have several custom UDF pick lists in our instance, and one of them is something we'd like to automatically sync from another source. I'm looking at creating a script to automate this for us so we can be sure the SD Plus UDF pick list stays properly in sync. Doing this manually through the front end introduces a delay in the syncing, and is often a source for people making mistakes when manually entering the data.

Is there any API's available for inserting/updating values in a pick list?
