Anyway to tune default AlarmMessage variables?
Hi all,
I'm puzzled with a question.
I've configured a custom monitor to monitor Temperatures (in degrees Celsius).
After a short while I enabled Thresholds for this monitor.
Basically: GenerateAlarm when OID-VALUE/Instance is during 'one consecutive time' greater then Threshold=X, then Severity=Trouble, AlarmMessage='Temperature exceeded ThresholdX C', ClearAlarm when OID-VALUE/Instance is during 'one consecutive time' less then Threshold=X-1.
Right now OpManager displays this:
Temperature exceeded 25 C : SensorT_Value , Instance = 5 : Current Value = 28 : Threshold value = 25 : Severity = Trouble : Rearm Value = 24
Is there a way to tune this to your own preferences? For example to:
[Severity:] [MonitorName] [Instance]: [Current Value] [Units] exceeded Threshold [xx] [Units], Alarm will be cleared at [Rearm Value] C.
What would result in:
Trouble: SensorT_Value 5: 28 C exceeded Threshold 25 C, Alarm will be cleared at 24 C
I've the feeling that it might be very usefull to have the ability to tune this alarmmessage to something human readable instead of the default.
Anybody capable of helping me out on this?
Regards,
Minollie
