Anyone else having issues with Patch Deployments getting stuck at "Draft - Download In Progress"?

Our endpoint central server started this horrifically annoying "feature" a couple months ago and support has been at best less than stellar, at worst completely uninterested in resolving the issue.

Essentially once a week we round up all the patches for the whole network and deploy them in a controlled fashion. Routinely, meaning every single week, for the past few months, one or more of the patch configurations will hang at the download in progress step. If I click on it all patches are already downloaded or marked already available on the server. The configuration will sit like this for days until we fight with it by deleting patches one by one until we find the offending one.

Once you remove whatever patch the server is having a fit over, the deployment moves to ready to execute immediately. Each week it's a different patch and is taking hours to identify it each week. The system that is supposed to be saving us time is actively eating time like no other.

We have submitted no less than 4 tickets on the issue. Each time being brushed off for typically one of the two below responses.

"Need more logs" logs that are unrelated to the issue, like demanding logs from every single machine in the deployment. The server hasn't even gotten to the point of reaching out to the machines much less why do you need logs for machines that are and have been offline the whole time?

"It was downloading a large office patch" for FOUR DAYS!? Despite showing it was already on the server?

Anyone find a proper permanent fix for this? It's clear manage engine can't find the issue for us. Hopefully one of you had the same issue and found a solution. Cause we are ready to dump endpoint central if the patching module can't be fixed to work like it used to. Endpoint Central used to be rock solid reliable for us. Now it's anything but.

As of this moment, one of the deployments for this week has been stuck for 5 hours with all patches showing as downloaded or already available less than 5 minutes after creating it. The other two are ready to execute and have been since about 10 minutes after I created the configuration.
