'ME MDM' app renamed to 'Self Service'
Hello everyone.
We are renaming the Mobile Device Manager Plus agent app from 'ME MDM' to 'Self Service'. Starting June 15, 2026, the app will be automatically updated with the new name on all user devices. The rollout will be phased across different regions. No action is required on your end.
The new name, Self Service, better represents the app’s purpose for end-users. By simplifying the name, we aim to help end-users:
Recognize the app’s purpose at a glance
Independently access apps, resources, and upload logs on their own.
Reduce dependency on IT team
What’s NOT changing?
No changes to features, functionality, or workflows
No impact on app catalog, resources, or configurations
This update applies only to the agent app installed on end-user devices. It does not affect the Mobile Device Manager Plus server app used by administrators.
If you’ve rebranded the agent app's name or the logo, your customizations will be retained and no change will happen.
