Allocating Licence Duplicating
I'm currently going thru this software and assigning my software licence to specific machines but I have a problem which I hoope someone can help me with.
I'm looking at the scanned software page and I notice Adobe Acrobat Professional 7. I click on this to see who has this installed and it displayes the 2 workstations that have it installed.
I've made the software type Managed and I have 2 licences for it. So to allocate the licences to each machine I click on the tick box at the top of the Unlicenced Installations area (this selects both boxes below it) and then click the Allocate Licence button.
However, this duplicates the amount of licences needed for each machine i.e. each machine is allocated 2 licences (for 2 installs but there is only one on each machine). So instead of have 2 licences for 2 workstations, SD+ states that I have 2 workstations, 4 installations and 2 of these are unlicenced.
Any idea why this is?
PS I've noticed this a few times with different software, I'm simply mentioning this one as an example.
