alert when a monitored value is other than specified?

Currently I am monitoring my physical drives status through snmp, because we had some failed drives recently.
A drive can have the status: other = 1, ok = 2, failed = 3, predictiveFailure = 4 .
It will return a value of 2 when status is ok. If the status changes to 1 or 3 or 4, I would like to receive a notification. But with the current threshold configuration it is not possible is it?
