Hi,
Been clearing some Alarms on differents devices, newly unmanaged devices, or newly unmanaged services. Here's the step I do, :
I go to a device,
Click on a specific alarm
Click delete (I dont want to "clear" because the alarm element is either no longer valid, or subject to change, so I dont want to keep the previous statuses, anyway, I want to completely delete the alarm, not only clear the status)
What happens : The alarm is deleted and I land on a page that says "
Currently there are no open Alarms."
Now I'm stuck to search again for the device I was working in, wich I may not have the direct name or IP address, so go back to Dashboard, find the device or whatever path I have to go back to.
What I wishes : Simply add a button that allow me to go back to the device I was in, the info is available in the "?methodCall=alarmProperties&entity=22853_.1&selectedTab=Alarms View" page wich I come from, and the Delete link is a direct link to the page "/fault/AlarmActions.do?methodCall=alarmProperties&operation=Delete&entity=22853_.1", adding a parameter to this link with "name=my.device.name.com" would allow to have a name of the snapshot to go to something like "This alarm have been deleted Back to device" (underline, link to snapshot)
With this, It is really fast to resume looking to a device where I was working in the first place.

***(A note too that the message that currently appears is false, "
Currently there are no open Alarms." is shown, but only the specific alarm I try to open (22853_.1) does not exist, so the message should change to something like " The alarm you try to reach does not exists" as this is the real error since I just deleted it. There are actually other open alarm, even on the device I was working on. In that case, a fallback to the list of alarm of the "current" device would be better than the current message wich lead me to think that everything's fine in my network, or my device, wich is not the case :-)
