Hi,
I've noticed on the last couple of upgrades there are som clients that fails to upgrade. It seems like the install completes, but the file C:\Program Files (x86)\DesktopCentral_Agent\bin\dcagentservice.exe doesn't exist, so the service can't start.
There's no problems with servers that are online all the time, so it's client computers that fails, probably because they're disconnected from the network at just the wrong time, or something like that. Previously it has been very stable but now it's maybe 5% that fails the last couple of times. Has anyone else seen this?
My workaround has now been to upload the agent to Intune - as all our computers are also registered in Intune - and setup detection rules that checks for the presence of that file. If it's not there then the agent is installed by Intune. That seems to work just fine, but it shouldn't be nescessary.
