Agent installs but doesn't run

I have recently purchased Endpoint Central and am in the process of rolling it out to a small number of machines.

I have changed the default port that HTTPS uses to 443 (so that I can use CloudFlare to make it public facing) and have updated the NAT Devices/Ports to the public URL.

I have downloaded the agent and manually installed it on my own machine and this has ben successful. I am able to scan (although manually fails - but that is another problem for me to look into). Every other machine however, the agent will install (manually) but will not appear in my task bar. I can see the services running, but nothing is happening and the computer is not being discovered!

I will be rolling this out via GPO to our on-prem users and Intune for our Azure users (we do not have a hybrid environment), but I want to ensure that it is working first!

Why is the client not installing correctly in the first instance and how can I fix this?
