I am running SDP MSP 7.6 and have the ae_scan.vbs script setup in GPO to run when any user logs onto the domain. The problem is if the user doesn't have admin rights (the majority of our users and we're not about to give them admin rights) logs on, they recieve a windows script host error saying they do not have the privledges to run the script and need admin priviledges, and for the few users who are admins, when we login, we don't recieve an error but the script is not updating SDP MSP with new scan results for that machine. Also the directory which contains the login scripts is not having any XML files generated and neither are the workstations, which the script is setup to do for manual imports when the SDP server is unreachable. Anyone have any idea on how to get this working? I've called and talked on the phone to ManageEngine but all they did was give me the directions on how to setup the script in GPO for Active Directory, which I already did according to their directions in the first place.
