Advice for Query report about Response time (non-office hr)

Recently i am working on a report about Technician Response time and Time spend on a request. And some other time related value..
Assumption : Our Operation Hour is 09:00 - 18:00
Time spent on request (wo.timespentonreq) is work fine as it is a build in value where i know there are some rule applied on the counting (Will not count on those non-office hour time)
While for Actual Response Time (wo.RESPONDEDTIME - wo.CREATEDTIME) , it works fine if both happened in the same day.
eg. the request created at 1st May 12:30 , and Tech responded the request through email at 1st May 13:00
But for the case like the following
eg. the request created at 1st May 17:30 , and Tech responded the request at 2nd May 09:30 , actually it just take 1 Hour to response , while the result return is 16 Hour.
I know the problem is counting the non-office hours, is it possible to apply the rule of the Time spent on request (wo.timespentonreq) on other value as well ?
I still have some other value like (complete - responded time) to count the actual time used on the request where got the same issue.
