Hi,

I upgraded my server from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Service 2019. I've done it the lazy way, so inplace upgrade. After the upgrade ADSelfService Plus won't autostart on reboot. When I start ADSelfService Plus manually through the start menu everything works fine and all settings are still there.

I've tried 'Install ADSelfService as service' option but than I get an error that the service already exist. Weirdly enough, when I go to services.msc, the service is not there. When I query through Powershell it is there:

1. PS C:\Users\Administrator> Get-Service -Name *self*
2. Status   Name               DisplayName
3. ------   ----               -----------
4. Stopped  ADSelfServicePlus  ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus
   

Setting it to startup type automatic through Powershell works, but doesn't make a difference:

1. PS C:\Users\Administrator> Get-Service | select -property name,starttype
   
   Name                                     StartType
   ----                                     ---------
   ADSelfServicePlus                        Automatic

I also tried reinstalling by downloading the latest version but after the installer starts, it stops at one point, telling me to get the latest service pack but I'm already on that version.

I think I can force fix it by deinstalling/reinstalling but I would like to avoid that since I want to keep all my settings. Any idea on how to fix this?
