additional fields of account not editable by password user
Hi,
I wanted to add additional fields for temporary password, reason for temp pw, user of temp pw and expected end of need for temp pw, to the account information.
As an admin I am able to do so, but a password user can only see those entries. They can not edit them even though I have given them the right to change the password.
Is there a way around this? I know you can supply a reason for change of a password, but that does not hold enough information for the purpose I want to use it for. Temp passwords are typically set when external support organizations need to perform research on a certain node or when they need to do an upgrade of the system. Keeping the password field intact makes it easy to set back the password to the original value (I understand that extra functionality like password sync, and direct login are not working when I use it like this). Keeping an expected end date for the temp password would allow a check on expired temp paswords which should be checked if they are still needed.
