Adding Numerous Devices

I have a network on which I plan to use OpManager for monitoring. Using the discovery options to add devices would not work well in this situation as the only devices I would like to monitor are switches, and they are on a host of different IP ranges. Entering each range one-by-one or manually entering the individual addresses would simply take too much time. What I am wondering: is there a way to take a file with the relevant information (i.e. IP address, device type, switch model), delimitered properly and process it into the database. I know OpManager works through a MySQL backend -- is there one table where all device information is inputted upon entry that this information could be dumped to?
