Adding new licenses - SDP 7018
I hope that this is not me being really dense here but how does one add software licenses outside the PO system. I have looked and looked and cannot find it.
The Help screen says:
From the software view list page -> Click Create New link -> select Software License option. This opens Add Software License page.
Select the Product Name from the combo box. If the product name is not available in the list select Add New link to add the product. specify the Product Name in the given field. This is a mandatory field. Choose the Managed software from the list and click >> button to move the selected software to the selected software list. This is also a mandatory field. Click Save to save the details.
I see no link to add a software license, what is the software view list page.
Help please getting really frustated at what appears to be the lack of fleixbility that has been introduced.
I am really annoyed with the fact we spent ages last year adding hundreds of licenses manually to the asset register categorised software. We can no longer get anywhere these and no longer see them.
