I'm pretty sure I can't do this but want to check.

 

We have a piece of mining software that has 10 named licenses. However within these named licenses are two categories for different uses which have 5 named licenses each.

 

What I would like is the ability to apply the 10 licenses as per usual to 10 installations of the software.  However I would also like to apply another licenses for the sub-category to the same piece of software.

 

Diagram incase that was confusing:

 

---->General 10 user License

      -------> 5 User specific license within the 10 license range

      -------> 5 User specific license within the 10 licenes range

 

While I could in theory just create the licenes as their 5 user specific license and not bother applying the general usage license, I would prefer to apply the general license and than an additional specific license as the specific license refers to the added on functionality of the software and not the core program.

 

We have several suites that work like this so I would love to see this added.  If this can't already be done - I'll pop on over to the software enhancement post and paste this request.
