Add Note To Request Automatically on Submit
I have created a service catalog template that I originally enabled the section "Use this area to display a short description or any instruction, notes, or guidelines for Technician." I had wanted to use this to give directions to the tech on how to handle that particular type of request. I learned after, that this text only displays if the technician is the one creating the ticket. I need them to see it on a submitted ticket. Since this is not currently possible, I was wondering if I could use a field and form rule coupled with a script to add a note to the request with the information I need the techs to see. Or is there any other logical way to provide directions to the tech? If the script would work - can someone help me with how to write it?
