Add Custom Fields for Port/IP Management.
I'd like to see us able to add custom fields to the switch port mapper and the IPAM management. That way we could annotate entries with additional information we feel is necessary. I have specific instances in mind, but what I need might not be the same as what others need - so a generic custom field like in ServiceDesk/Asset Explorer would be nice. For example, I'd like to be able to give a IP a name apart from its DNS name (if it has one). I'd also like to be able to leave comments on specific ports - e.g. "this port was throwing bad packets starting on 8/11/08."
