We have already deployed AD Selfservice PLUS and it is running as a service using a local account on our server. We were trying to maintain security by migrating the service to use an MSA for password resets rather then using a generic service account within the Admin group.

Will using an MSA account on the service allow the software to reset passwords similar to if we had a generic service account with admin to the domain?

Also when I attempted to start the service, it doesn't start and instantly stop, is there anything I need to do? If I try to run it I am getting permission issues on various parts of the software and maybe the DB?
