AD/Domain Asset scan failes -- samba backend
We've got a windows network emulated via samba on a linux box.
I can see the domain and all computers within the domain in windows tools (mmc, etc..) I can also manage and view the user list using usrmgr for windows. Yet servicedesk fails with an ever so specific "general failure" message when I try scanning AD or the domain for assets.
I'm using the newest release, evaluating.
I've tried changing my domain from domain.com to just domain, changed how my Domain Controll naming convention was, tried different credentials, nothing seems to work!
Can anyone shed any light on this?
