Active Directory contents comparisons

I am very new to the world of AD, but I need now to do a comparison of the contents of AD and SQL Server tables to ensure that the results of updates have correcly been applied. Is there any utility software that allows me, fairly painlessly - I am not a technician - to compare old contents against new contents?
