Able to associate devices and services to a profile ?

I have been tasked to look for a solution that can monitor the above mentioned situation. Let me further elaborate:
I will like to create a profile named DHCP (eg. : DHCP services) with all the relevant associations tagged to this profile . Such association will typically include the NIC on the server, the port on the switch that the server is connected to, the DHCP service running on the server.
In the event that DHCP is not available, the alarm will be raised and upon looking at the details, it will indicate if the failing point lies with the services, the NIC or the switch port.
Using this approach, I am able to know first what is the impacted service (in this case DHCP) rather than to troubeshoot from a failed NIC to deduce what service is not available. Is OpsManager able to provide me with this kind of visibility ?
