currently we do not have the ability to enter a date directly into the acquisition date, expirty data and wraranty date fields without using the Calendar selection box.

 

typing these dates in is a lot faster than having to go through the gui each time.

 

in addition, this field cannot be 'blanked out' once a date is entered without running an update statement in the DB.
