a way to shutdown/restart certain monitors through a script?

We use OpManager's URL monitoring feature, and each time we push a new upload to our site, OpManager sends a URL-down alert, which it actually is down during the upload and OpManager's doing exactly what it�s supposed to be doing.

If possible, we'd like to run a script on OpManager to shutdown, then a set period of time later, restart the URL monitoring, thereby stopping the URL alerts from happening because of the uploads. Because our uploads are also ran from a script, we could incorporate this OpManager "shutdown/restart" script along with it.

These uploads happen at various times of the day and couldn't use OpManager's Downtime Scheduler; ideally, the script needs to run at the same time our upload script runs.
