3rd Party SSL Woes

3rd Party SSL Woes

Build 70234 of DC.  I'm able to enable HTTPS with the selfsigned certs and connect to via port 8383.

Generated csr, submitted and received official cert (used 2048 in command line as we cannot get 1024 certs from InCommon setup).  However, after copying the .key and cer, renaming cer to crt and re-starting server, I get no response from server at the previous 8383 port. I verified the service started and as far as I can tell all is OK.

Did the same process for our OpManager install and the server responded fine with the new cert.

I downloaded the intermediate only cert (although this wasn't needed in OpManager) and followed instructions adding the lines in the httpd-ssl.conf and template files... still no luck.

Restoring the orig. certs and we are back in business.   Any ideas?

I really wouldn't worry about it, but Remote Desktop fails to work under IE9 (fine in Firefox) as it keeps telling us that the cert has a problem even though we add to trusted sites and install the cert manually to root auth.
