Business rules not working
Hello, I am unable to get business rules to notify via SMS or email. Earlier this week, I had 1 main rule that triggered notifications.This rule has been working for months without issues. I recently added another rule that would trigger a notification based on different criteria and since then none of the alerts will trigger. I have since removed all notifications from all rules and added new rules with very basic constraints and I am still not getting notifications. I have verified that mail functionality

Hi, we need to integrate the SDPlus site on an existing portal for a customer, that wants autologon. I tried starting using the code at https://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk-msp/faq-general-modules.html#customization2, but it doesn't work. I think it's because the HTML page doesn't offer the domain field. Am I wrong ? If so any idea how to fix it ? Simone
API Query - Custom SLA Settings in Site
Hello! As per the API documentation: SLASettings Related Settings for Service Level Agreements setting of the site. Allowed values: copy (Copy Default Settings ), refer(Refer Default Settings ), custom(Custom Settings) What is the appropriate usage of this as it is not clear. How do I actually set custom settings, an example would help! If I have two SLAs in the default settings called "Premium SLA" and "Standard SLA" how would I set that using the API for the site?

We have a monitoring software that watches multiple clients. It generates email alerts from one email address for all the different clients. I was wondering if it was possible to have the ticket be generated for an account based on the destination email address. Best way to Prevent/Report back on Accounts that are inactive?
I'm quite open on the best way to do this. Lets assume we have an Account that cancels their contract with us. We want to keep them in ManageEngine but we don't want engineers to be able to create tickets against the accounts. Is there an option for this somewhere or a way to do this? Thanks!

Hello, We are using SD PLUS MSP Edition on our central site. We have Asset Explorer remote instances setup at remote locations which are responsible for scanning local assets of that location. I do see an option on my remote AE server to export the scan data in a zip file format. My question is how can i import this data into the SD PLUS Central console ?
The ManageEngine API needs a lot of work
I'm currently writing a C# interface using the ManageEngine API so as to automate the creation of accounts and sites based on our own internal database. I could just abandon the API and use SQL but I don't want to do that. Why, for example, can I not set a defaultSite using the API when I am adding in a new account. Using the API I have yet to find a way to create a new account and associate a site with that account. Your documentation should really visibly indicate which fields are mandatory on
Support Group notifications
Hi, We are trying to use the function "Send notification to group technician(s) when a new request is added to this group ", it doesn't not work. However if we enable "Alert group members by e-mail when a new request is added to the group." in Notification rules we get an notification, but then on all support group, not just the group we want. Hi, I have set a business rule to close request when support mail adress is not in the "TO" list, but only in the "CC" list. The implemented rule is: Criteria : "To does not contain" "support@ourcompany.com" This business rule work very well when the support adress is not in the "To" list, but when two or more mail adresses are in the recipient list, including our support , the rule is also executed. MSP 7600 I believe there should be a Custom View for Requests as per below. My Open/On Hold Or Unassigned. I have tried to create this as a Custom view the only problem is I can't make it public because there is not a selection available for "Logged in Technician" in the technician list, meaning the person currently viewing their list. UnExpected error when updating project

Auto assign technicians to new accounts
Hello! At the moment, when we have a technician who is not an admin we have to manually assign any additional accounts added to give them access to that account, by editing the technician then using the "Associate account with technician". All of our technicians should have the ability to see all accounts, but as just a normal help desk user (IE: No Admin). Is there an option that automatically gives existing technicians access to new accounts. Thanks for any help in advance!
Update fails
When trying to apply the update 8.3.0.7 to a 8.3.0.6 Windows installation with Postgres it fails after a couple of minutes with the message: "Trying to start PostgresSQL server failed" Of course the service has been stopped as well as stopDB has been executed. All executed from elevated CMD-prompt. After that I'm able to start ServicedeskMSP service and everything works, but version is still 8.3.0.6 Any ideas why the update fails?
Support email address under Account does not work on replies
A requester can SEND to this address, but the replies (from MSP) are always from the address configured in mail server settings. I honestly don't know why, as a simple design matter, you didn't just create multiple "mail servers"{ for MSP. It would be SO MUCH EASIER to simply create a one-to-one email account relationship with the Exchange server and simply link that to an account. Oh well, back to my problem. 1.) Error Importing Requesters
I am attempting to import approximately 1000 requesters. When the import completes the system only imports about 600 entries and rejects 400 entries. When I look at the "Failed CI List with Errors" it lists an error for many of the records as "Null". I cannot determine what field the system is talking about, the rejected records look fine to me. I can send the actual import files if needed for further examination

I added an additional Account field called Program to form groupings of Accounts. I want to write a small query report to display all Accounts by Program. Android MSP App crashes when choosing Tech or Site
When creating a new request through the Android App I'm not able to choose a Requester, nor a Site. The App just stops and restarts. In the normal Servicedesk Plus MSP portal it works fine. Is there some settings I've missed for the App? BTW: What I want to accomplish here is to be able to create a new SR through the App as well as a new requester if not found among the existing requesters.

Site list gone crazy?
My sites and site list has gone crazy?! The "region" is displaying in the Site name field and "false" is displayed in the region field. The actual data in each site is still displaying correctly if I click into it though.

Hi! When can we expect a way for our requesters to reset forgotten passwords? We have hundreds of users, but a lot of them are dreading to use it because they can't remember their passwords and don't want to bother us. You have other products that do this for active directory, and you are unable to implement a similar feature in a larger and much more expensive product? Why??? Re-Initialize Database
We have successfully installed MSP version 8.3 Build 8305. During a large import of customers we experienced some network issues that stopped the import. Is there a way to re-initialize the database so we can start the import process from the beginning? At a minimum we need to remove all requesters, accounts, sites, etc.

Cant access Servicedesk from computers
Hi, I've installed ServiceDesk Plus MSP for evaluation for our business. I've chosen Postgre as the DB and port 8080. The server is a Windows 2012 running IIS and other applications aswell.
