Recalculate 'DueBy' date after changes to SLA?
Hi I have made changes to our SLAs, is there a way I can recalculate the DueBy dates for all open requests so that the new SLAs take effect? I don't really want to have to edit each request manually.... If there isn't functionality out-of-the-box, I don't mind using a "backdoor" method if it is suggested by someone at AdventNet! Mail Notification with Secure email server

History Doesn't Update
Using build 7504 and previous when a request is edited to update history and then saved, (Update Request), the entry is not always saved. In fact you have to go back in, re-type the entry, click Update Request and then it seems to work. For lack of better term, the only way I can describe it is that is doesn't work the first time.
TECHNICIAN SCREEN: JAVA ERROR
When trying to do anything on the Technician screen, I get a loading. SNMPv3 BUG: character '%' in authentication password
Hello, I'm testing OpManager with latest service pack (build 7204) on MS SQL. I've just found some strange bahviour, probably a bug with SNMPv3 implementation. I have one Cisco 2800 Series router with SNMPv3 enabled. SNMP authentication password contains '%' character as the first and the last one (example: %something% ). When I try to enter these credentials in Credential Manager, I receive an error: Credential Name Already present. Choose different name. Then I tried to change the credential manually
How granular can the CPU monitoring reporting be?
I'm running a historic report of CPU levels on a Sun Solaris server for the month of November 2008. The report is only showing the values on an hourly basis...however I know the monitoring is done every minute. Is there something I can configure to give me more detail rather than hourly figures, or is the data aggregated for the reports? Gavin
SNMP/Network device community string updates
Support, Is there a way to update the community string for a "SNMP/Network Device" monitor after you have created it. I go to the edit monitor screen and there is no field to allow for a change.... I did notice that when i select SNMP/Network devices from the category view on the monitor tab and then go to the "list view" that there is an option to update username & password but Im not sure that will work because that is the "username" and "password" fields and Im just looking for the "snmp community

Linux auditd generated audit.log files
I'm currently using AdventNet's EventLog Analyzer for auditing of a secure Windows machine and thought it would be nice to use for a secure RHEL 5.2 cluster as well since people would only need to use one interface. It seems to do well with the syslog entries, but I don't see anything about getting the auditd/ audit.log entries into it. Can anyone point me to some information on how to do this or should I give up and go with Prewikka? Attached is a log sample. Dan

Virtualise Netflow on VMWare

7.5 Beta and LDAP
I have setup LDAP in the 7.5 beta and have gotten a successful import of users, however when I enable LDAP Auth. and try to log in to SDP using LDAP it always says user or password is incorrect. Any ideas?
Problem with 7205 hotfix
Good afternoon, I have just upgraded Opmanager from 7100 by running the 7200 service pack without any problems and tested OK. I then stopped the services and ran the 7205 hot fix and rebooted the server. After it came up I logged in to Opmanager and got a blank screen with "ERROR!" in the top left corner and the rest of the screen blank. After some searching on your forums I then stopped services and checked that the java, apache, and mysql processes were not running. I then ran a repairdb.bat file.
Error when trying to add an iis monitor
Hi, I'm trying to add an iis monitor on a 2000 server running iis and immediately I receive a "Service is not Running" message. If I press the "Diagnose the problem?" button, I can see a V mark on the Service Status part of the popup diagnose screen opened plus the output header. Also, if I type the address of the server I'm trying to monitor I get a regular web page. How can I Debug this? Thanks, Adi.
Scan overwrites existing asset
Has anyone else encountered this issue or found out what causes it? I scanned a new workstation (by computer name) that did not yet exist in SDPlus. When the scan was complete I saw that it overwrote another asset record. I am trying to figure out what caused it to grab that record to populate rather than create a new one. MouseOver not Displaying full Subj. Fields text
When the Solutions, contracts lists are opened the text in the subject field is cut off. When you do a mouse over the full text of the subject is not visible form a popup. (like in the Request list) There is also no way to expand/lengthen the columns in any lists in SD+. What can be done???? Phil
No rollback from 7022, where can I find 7021?
Hello, We are excited about moving to 7504,but we've run into a slight 'testing' snag. On our production machine, we're running 7021. On our dev machine we're running 7011. I'm not exactly sure how prod got moved to 7021 without the dev box being there first. Currently we have the "Alert Technician by Email when any Recommendation is taken on change." option turned off (unchecked), but technicians still receive email notifications when CAB members make a recommendation. Unaudited Workstations GUI
Assets > Workstations > Troubleshoot It gives you a list of workstations that are having problems, but unlike other areas of the software, there are no checkboxes to select multiple machines and either delete them or rescan them.
Assign Owner Problem
When we try to assign any asset to an owner from any browser, as soon as you select the user and hit ok the whole machine locks up. This happens from the server, the workstation, and it does not matter what browser they are using. We are on 7504 8 gigs of ram Every thing but assets is fast and responsive. Jody
