Failing to connect to the server - something to do with Java

rest api business view
i see there is an api for addDeviceToBV however there is no RemoveDeviceToBV. is there anyway to remove a device from a business view using the API or delete and the whole business view itself. i would like to create business views based on information from another system but there doesn't seem to be a way to remove devices that no longer belong in a view.

Hi, is there any possibility to show the Business Views in alphabetical order? If you hover the "Maps" menu and click "Show all" in Business View section, the patricular views are ordered by creation date. Is it possible to order them alphabetically? Best regards Philip

I am trying to run snmpwalk, it works fine, but after the last mib it throw an error: Request Failed: Get Response PDU received from 127.0.0.1 Error Indication in response: There is no such variable name in this mib. Errindex: 1 Is it an error? or Is it expected when tree is ended?My snmp agent is returning SNMP_ERRORSTATUS_NOERROR. It gives error after last mib of the tree. snmkget works fine on same OID.

Strange SNMP Behavior - Disk Space Utilization
On several occasions a number of our Red Hat (6 & 7) servers have stopped reporting Disk Utilization .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.6. This usually happens after a reboot or in the last instance when the OpManager service shutdown unexpectedly. When the systems are checked in OpManger all of the other SNMP counters, queries are working properly. Dear OpManager Users, Hope you are all aware of Adobe's EOL announcement for its flash player in 2017. Here is the official announcement from Adobe. https://www.adobe.com/in/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html We were already aware of this and made sure new business views are created using HTML5 after 12.2 release. We also gave an option to our users to migrate the old business views created in Flash player to HTML5. But still some users are using the business views created in Flash player.
False Positive - SNMP monitor of Free space
Hi ALL! OpManager 12.5.120 Many VM with Windows Server 2016. Part of this VM has SNMP and WMI monitors (with thresholds) about free space in the HDD. WMI monitor works fine SNMP monitor has periodic false notifications about free space - look latest false (Opmanager_False-1.png) BTW free space is already below the threshold. Look at graphs WMI & SNMP What is it? Why OpManager has false data via SNMP ?

Email notification on created SNMP trap is not working as intended
Hi, Backup Exec allow throwing traps when a job fails. I configured it in Backup Exec and OpManager received the trap under Unsolicited Traps. Created Trap Processor rule by clicking the 'Create Trap Processor' link against this Unsolicited Trap. So far, worked good. I created a device specific email notification profile to fire on this specific Trap Processor rule. This didn't work. When I checked details under Alarms section. I couldn't see the trap under Trap Alarm, but I do see it under Events.

OpManager login failure issue for few customers.
Hello All, Greetings from the ManageEngine OpManager team! Few customers around the globe reported that they are not able to access OpManager UI with error Invalid Credentials. While checking the issue in remote sessions, we found the table which has the user details of account got empty. Few other table entries related to user mappings to business views, tab customization were also missing. Though the application is running and alerts are generated, users were not able to login to application.

Layer-2 Map Invalid Credentials
Hello, We're currently evaluating OpManager before we migrate from our existing solution, Some reason when we add network for layer-2 discovery it gives Invalid Credential error. - We're using Cisco ASA with routing mode. - We already polled ASA without any issue with given SNMP Credentials, But if we try to run layer-2 discovery it throws a credential error. - I check all SNMP traps and verify all are working fine but still giving error.

For performance alerts (such as disk, processor, memory, windows service) there should be a direct link to the affected monitor for easy analysis. Right now, the options are to: 1. Click the Server name and it takes me to the server where I have to click-through to get to the monitor. 2. Click the alert that takes me to the alert screen instead of the affected monitor. It should be much easier to click directly to the affect monitor.
