Unable to load MIB
Hi, I am unable to load the attached MIB. The MIB browser said that there are some errors and it cannot parsing the MIB properly. This is a Datum M-500 Satellite Modem. The module was based on Linux. -rus
Event log question
Is there a limit to how event log rules can be monitored per domain controller? We're trying to monitor for event ID 529 and 644 on our DCs but don't see the emails coming through when the accounts get locked out. We are successfully using event rules for when accounts are disabled.
MS Win Server 2012 R2 Compatability with OpMan?
I am experiencing some issues with Server 2012 R2 in OpManager... to my knowledge I have the latest version - just updated this morning. I cannot find any posts on whether 2012 R2 is officially supported - It is NOT an option in the OS selection dropdown box. Is it just me, or is 2012 R2 not working yet? All my virtual 2012 R2 servers are being incorrectly detected as 2003 physical servers, and the program wont let me change it manually. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks, Boris
Problems since upgrading to 11200
Hi, Last week I upgraded to v11200. Since then I don't seem to be getting as many alerts as I did previously. I would normally see around 30 alerts each morning but now I only have a few. Another problem is that for one server we have automation configured to restart a service when it fails, this no longer seems to happen. There seems to be large gaps in alerting for example if I look at my disk space, I don't seem to get any readings after 14:00 in the afternoon, until around 21:00. Regards, Edit:

You do not have to worry about the Heartbleed security flaw when using OpManager. OpManager is not affected by heartbleed. OpManager uses a self-signed SSL certificate for HTTPS mode of accessibility, these SSL certificates were created using java keytool and not OpenSSL. We also recommend customers to use java keytool to implement their domain SSL certificate. We tested an OpManager installation just to confirm we are not affected. OpManager Log file nmsout.txt growing extremely large
Hi nmsoutxxxx.txt log file in OpManagerProbe/logs is growing as I watch into megabytes and then gigabytes. Also sometimes a very large nmsoutxxxx.txt (as large as 5 GB) suddenly appears in the logs folder. This is quickly filling up my hard disk and then the OpManager page doesn't load. I stopped the OpManager service, deleted all log files and started it, but it didn't fix it. Hello, Do you knwo why I receive snmp trap from Idrac 7 but not from Idrac 6 to my OpManager ? When I use the TrapViewer tool (..\ManageEngine\OpManager\bin\MibBrowser.bat), I have no problem and I receive all the trap from Idrac 6 and 7. Export/Import Devices from One Version to Another
Hello-- We changed our OpManager environment to add more probes, etc. and now we have almost 1,500 devices that we need to input into the new instance of OpManager. The old instance is build # 10100 and the new instance is build # 11200. Is there any way we can export the devices from the old instance of OpManager into the new instance? Thanks, Stephen

Exception while loading MIB
Hi: When I try to upload a MIB file I'm getting the next message: Error parsing MIB:FORTI-DDOS-MIB.mib Exception while loading MIB:Could not parse the file C:/MANAGE~1/OPMANA~1/./mibs/FORTI-DDOS-MIB.mib. The error occured at the line no: 97 ,column: 17. The identifier should not start or end with number or special character. I've attached the file. Can anyone help me?? Thanks.

Hi, I have two questions. First one: I have a server (linux) on my system. SNMP Credential is OK for the device. Configure threshold levels on reports
Hi, I searched first and could only find a 6 year old post asking if it was possible to change the threshold colors of reports. What I would like to know instead, is there any way of defining the threshold levels of the reports? So that instead of having Yellow and Red at the standard levels, I would like for Yellow to be at 95% and Red at above 99% when generating pdf-reports. If it isn't possible from the web-interface, is it possible to change the levels within a file on the server? Thanks in
SQL query
I need to run a few sql queries to produce an audit report. I need to list all the current monitor for all devices; all the monitors available (I know, a lot), maybe per manufacturer; all the alerts per current devices. I can pull out all the devices via normal reporting and have tried to get the list of monitors and alerts the same way, but the reports weren't set up for that. What table or tables am I looking for?

E-mail Alerting
Hi, I have some problems about e-mail alerting. I did all setting for Proxy Server Setting, Mail Server Setting, Alarm Escalation, Notification Profile, etc... I made every thing step by step. Test Mail is working but Real Time is not working. When I have the problem which is defined in the Alarm Escalation Rules, OpManager not works and not send me e-mail. What I miss? What's the problem? I am using version 11200. We have an alert from 'hardware monitor' on a specific device (known issue). Is it possible to disable 'hardware monitor' on this device only? I need all other monitor functions on that device, so unmanaging it is not possible. I also need 'hardware monitor' on all other devices.

SQL Server Monitoring - Wrong DB log size

adding widgets to dashboards
I would like to add the 'Top VMs by Disk I/O Usage' widget to a custom dashboard. Because this widget is embedded within the VM Dashboard it is unavailable to select when adding widgets.
