IPMI monitoring for Lenovo and Cisco servers
i would like to be able to monitor IPMI for Lenovo and Cisco servers. could this functionality be added.
Custom Monitoring using snmptable
Currently we can add the OID which can be use via snmpwalk command. Since its not available in Opmanager, We unable to monitor some parameter which can be found using snmptable command. e.g in F5, we want to monitored the Pool Member state.
Device Template Logic Disk Space Monitoring (GB, MB, %): Allow inclusion and exclusions
Right now, the behavior to set the WMI monitor for Disk space is the threshold gets applied across all disks equally. In almost every infrastructure environment that creates unnecessary alerts for those volumes that need to have large amounts or percents. There should be an option to include or exclude specific volume drive letters. For example: If your environment has a SQL cluster, the Quorum drive is usually close to full but is very static. I would either want to set an exclusion or set a specific
Central Management of Individual or small groups of devices
I made a post about improving device templates but I want to expand on that. OpManager makes it very time-consuming to apply the same configuration to small to medium sized groups of devices. Device templates are almost there, but they rely on SNMP and you can't add a variety of monitors (Windows Service, Process, URLs, etc) to the template, but I noted that in another idea. The new idea is for Notifications. If I have a group of, say, 10 servers that I want custom notifications on the Windows Processes,
Customize Applications
The built-in Application Monitors are very few and don't cover a variety of applications in an infrastructure. It would be great to create an Application Monitor that not only covers Performance Monitors (like in a device template) but covers processes, services and URLs. This would make onboarding new applications much faster then it currently is. If I had an application farm with 10 servers that all leveraged the same processes, services, event logs, etc, I have to go to 10 individual servers and
Opmanager - interface down alarms - Generate Alarms option.
Hi I have read many posts on the topic, but there still does not seem to be an useable answer. Problem: Opmanager generates alarms for any switch ports that are down on a managed device. Scenario: The main problem is having alarms on access switch ports. Alerts on routers or core-switches are a good idea, but on access switches, alarms are a nuisance. I have approx 2400 access ports, and with say 10% of those spare, there are a lot of alarms. Disabling polling or management means we lose out on
Request: Too many interfaces!
All my servers have over 2 dozen software interfaces, like "WAN Miniport" or "Packet Scheduler". I don't want to monitor these by default when discovering devices. I would like to create a custom interface template based on the name of the interface. For example, don't monitor any interface name "WAN Miniport". Alternatively, can you add an option to disable monitoring of new discovered interfaces when adding a new device? Then I can manually just enable monitoring of the one or two "real" interfaces.
MODIFICATION OF DIALS
hi i have an idea there is the possibility that you can add dials no predefined monitoring equipment eg I have six ups and each has data input voltage and output it could add a chart created by the user where real-time display changing these parameters attached a picture of the idea
