Lost contact with tablet
Hi I did some tests with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A, everything was fine, I blocked web site, applications all what I need. But the problem is when I restricted the device defaults settings after a reboot the tablet lost wifi connection and even if I reboot the tablet the wifi did not get back There is a way to do a hard reset? Dear, We're looking to manage some Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 devices. These are Samsung SAFE/KNOX devices, it works great to install/uninstall apps remote and also the possibility to restrict the device is good. But when you set the option to "Modify Devices default Settings" in the profile restrctions to "Allow", then it's possible to add another user on the tablet with full user privileges (except for device settings, like Bluetooth orwifi). We would like to use these Samsung Tablet as a kiosk-like-modeAuthenticating wireless users from MDM database
Is there any system available or a plan in place to offer a system that we can use to authenticate devices joining our wireless network? I'd prefer to have something that checks the device against those already enrolled in MDM. If they are enrolled, they join. If not, they enroll first or are not allowed to join. Hi, I am just looking for a bit of guidance/best practice of implementing the MDM in a live working environment. We have the both the Service Desk Plus software, OpManager and AppManager running on the 1 server within our domain. My question is, should i install the MDM on the same server? Or would it be better practice to build a new server, put it in the DMZ and install MDM on this, seen as devices will need to contact the MDM server from the outside world?
