Google ADMIN SDK API expired
As of 4/20/15 Google Apps ended support for the ADMIN SDK. Passwords are no longer syncing between AD and Google Apps. Is there a patch to resolve this issue?
SMS Modem does not send SMS anymore
Hi, I am using Opmanager 8812 along with a Multitech GPRS GSM Wireless modem to send SMS notifications for alarms. After a while i see that the modem stops sending the SMS and the SMS_OUT table has alot of SMS with dispatch_date as NULL i.e. these SMS have not been sent. This is a very critical production system and we have no other way to receive alerts. Could you recomment some customisation/fine tuning or troubleshooting in order to resolve the issue. Notification Rule - Subject Variable Button "Requester Phone" incomplete
Google Chrome: Version 41.0.2272.101 m ServiceDesk Plus: 9.0 Build 9039 When modifying a Notification Rule "template" an issue has been noticed when the variable "Requester Phone" is selected. The variable is displayed minus the preceding "$" character. When selected, the variable is indicated such as: RequesterPhone When in fact, I believe it should be displayed as: $RequesterPhone Which is the same as the other options.
Flash reports in Internet Explorer 11
I'm using Windows 8.1 with Internet Explorer 11, and when I attempt to use Flash Reports (which I just discovered) I receive an error: "Flash reports supported in Internet Explorer only". I've found if I use the F12 developer tools and change my browser mode from Edge to "10" they will load, although a bit buggy with some clicks not registering. Is there a known solution to getting Flash Reports working in IE11?
Monitor Polled but no alarm shown
Hello, I'm using Appmanager build No.10820. I have a monitor for a Solaris OS, the monitoring mode is SSH (with the proper credentials). I have set a threshold for Disk utilization on one of the paths (e.g. "/data"), the threshold details are <85 (Clear) =85 (Warning) and >90(Critical). there is one associated action for this monitor which will send and email to a specific email address when the path is in critical state. email notification closed dont work
Hi, I installed servicedesk plus standard edition with five technical free . I have configured the mail server , and notifications . My problem is that when I close the ticket the technician does not receive the email but closing email receives only the user who opened the ticket . I selected in the notifications that the technician must be notified by email of the closure of the ticket. Why the technician does not receive the email closure if it is set in the notifications ?
New iTunes patch 12.1.2 isn't detected as missing from Win 8.1 machine with iTunes 11.4 installed
We're running build 90145, and there's a new iTunes patch detection, as of last night, for iTunes v12.1.2. One of our Win 8.1 (x64) Dell tablets has iTunes 11.4 installed. Its patch summary had been showing that it needs the latest iTunes patch 12.x installed. Now this morning, it's no longer showing that it needs the iTunes patch v12.1.2. Have you intentionally changed the logic of Patch Mgmt to only show iTunes v11.x patches for installed versions < v12.0? Or is the new patch 12.1.2 just not
Alarm Clear messages looping after status "Clear"
Sometimes we get looping alarm "Clear" messages via e-mail or SMS, even though it should only send 1 message I presume. In this example two of our switch ports went down yesterday at about 15:15, and within 1 minute they were up again. Opmanager sent three "Trouble" messages correctly, and also three "Clear" messages correctly both in e-mail and SMS. Just updated ServiceDesk Plus to build 9041 and the resolution box does not work in Google Chrome, unable to enter any text at all, the cursor doesn't even appear. Works fine in IE.
iPhone App Push Notifications

Resource Group insecurity
We believe the following shows an security bug in "Passwords owned and shared" scope for users: - create any new users (A and B) - make User A a password admin; make user B password admin or password user. - set both users' Access Scope to "Passwords owned and shared" - User A creates a resource group with a criteria like "Resource Name does not contain ZZZZZ" (ie match every resource that is in scope). - User A can only see resources "owned and shared" in this resource group - this seems correct.
Website of the secondary server reloads again and again
Hello there, I just updated our primary pmp server to 7600. After the update I set up a new HA secondary server. The database HA works good, but as soon as the primary is down and I want to access the website of the secondary server I get a problem. The login page is displayed normaly but right after the successful login the sides loads again and again. After a minute the browser crashes. Issues with WMI and DCOM
Hi, For a while now, I've been having issues with WMI and DCOM rendering OpManager only half as good as it was before. From my OpManager server, I am unable to authenticate to any other server on my network so none of my stats including memory and CPU usage, SQL information, etc. are showing up on any of the systems in OpManager. I see a whole bunch of garbage postings from bbanana that are cluttering the Desktop Central forum. Can the moderator remove the duplicate postings and ask bbanana to quit spamming the forum? Thanks.
Incident Templates Changing Resolution after 9040 Upgrade
Hi, We upgraded from 9022 to 9040 yesterday, and we have found an issue, where if an Incident Template is used on an existing request (or manually adding a new request) it's adding a "blank resolution" to the request. This didn't do this before the version upgrade. This is allowing tech's to close the requests without putting in a proper resolution. I've been through all the templates, and all the resolution fields are empty, no spaces etc. I've also re saved all the indicant templates too. I created

Add New Announcement - Can't Type in Box
We just upgraded to build 9040 and one of our technicians noticed that they can't type in the "Announcement Content" box when creating a new announcement (from the "Home" tab). It will work, however, if you click on the "plain text" option. If you type in a title, then press Tab to go to the text box, it does appear to let you type but the new text is being inserted after the menu bar instead of below it. Using Firefox 31.6.0 ESR.
Duplicate VM entries on Hyper-V cluster member

We have tried the following: Delete the entry with an IP address This results in two entries without IP addresses. We can add an IP to one or the other. Problem adding Cost Center in IE
Hello, I've noticed a small quirk when adding a new cost centre, using Internet Explorer, just for one technician (the main user of our purchase module). After adding the cost centre there are no error messages, but then it does not appear in the list. Adding a cost centre works fine in Chrome. Using IE 11. The cache is regularly cleared. We're on ServiceDesk version 9039, but this has been happening for several versions prior. Any ideas? Cheers, Frank
Request catalog does not match incident catalog
We are currently evaluating ServiceDesk Plus Standard edition, and I have a question that I have not been able to resolve by looking through the forums etc. on the web page. It seems to have introduced an email formatting problem (no line breaks) when replying to requests from within Service Desk. SDP 8.3 Build 8307 creating new requester even though one already exists
Came across an odd bug/error/something today. All of our requesters are imported from AD. I created a request via Quick Create. I typed in the users name and selected them. The account/site were filled in automatically as I tabbed down to the subject and description fields and filled in both. I then click Add More Details, selected a group, a priority and a category and clicked Submit request. The request was created and all seemed fine. A while later we got a call from the user wanting to know if

"Send notification to group technician(s)..." option in support groups doesn' save. I set all 3 checkboxes in suppoort group. Fill string "Notify to" (choose technicians from list). Then press save button. System says me "SUCCESS :Group details updated successfully" . But in fact nothing saved. If i enter the defined group again - there is empty checkboxes. And notice not send also. And in notification rules if i choose checkboxes on group notification there's also no send emails with notification.
Email alerts not working correctly
This morning one of our LAN switches went down, but OpManager didn't send an alert of it. There is a notification profile configured, settings below. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

I'm not seeing any patch detection for Mozilla Firefox v37.0.1, which became available starting April 3rd (three days ago). Is there a reason for the delay? Resolution Emails not being sent
I have an odd issue where resolution emails are not being sent to requesters. Other outbound emails are working fine and inbound are processing fine too. Was working ok yesterday morning then stopped working after adding a couple of extra filters to the spam filter and junk notification filter (“Auto reply” and “Automatic Reply”). Potential issue With Chrome and new text editor in build 9039
I've gotten 3 reports from Technicians and Users that the new text editor sometimes acts up when using Google Chrome. So far I've been able to reproduce it once. I was going to open a ticket with support but then my technician closed the incident from another browser (internet explorer or firefox) and now I can't reproduce it again. The behavior is such that you can't get a cursor or type in the text field. The tool bar along the top looks odd, more spaced out, possibly missing some buttons.
Issue with ServiceDesk Plus 9.0 Build 9038 & Firefox 36.0.1
We recently upgraded our ServiceDesk Plus to version 9.0 Build 9038. When I open ServiceDesk Plus using Firefox 36.0.1 and go to Requests - Open a Request and go to the "Resolution" tab, I am no longer able to enter a resolution. The cursor will not appear in the Resolution box from Firefox. This works fine from IE 11.
Can't unenroll users in 5202
I'm running 5202 and cannot unenroll any users. I go to the Enrolled Users report, and find the account I want to remove. Click the X button Get message: "Are you sure want to Disenroll this user? Note: The technician status (if applicable) will be deleted." Click Yes. The page refreshes, but the user is still there.
Random issue with resolution field
Hi, Since upgrading to latest build we are having a problem with the resolution field in requests. If I use chrome to try and enter a resolution I see the box but can't type in it. If I use Internet explorer it seems to be fine. However if my colleague uses internet explorer the only entry he can click on is now not in the actual box but a random area of the screen. I've attached a screenshot of his screen. This has only happened since we upgraded the build earlier this week.
Request Helpdesk Feature
I have installed Desktop Central MSP and Service Desk Plus MSP on premise. When users try to use the "Send Request to Helpdesk" feature it responds with an error message stating it cannot send. I have setup the API connection and have a green light on all settings in both admin sections and I have enabled the helpdesk feature in Desktop Central. I performed a google search and found hardly nothing on the issue. Can anyone help?

Request description and notes not wrapping
Whenever we have a lot of text in the request description and/or notes, the text does not wrap around the description area. Instead, the text is staying on a single line and creating a horizontal scroll bar. This is happening in both IE 11 and Chrome 41. We're using SDP 9040. I have attached a screenshot. Even though I have blurred out the text, you will notice there are plenty of spaces between words so it's not like I have a single word containing 500 characters and no spaces.
Unable to add a Hyper-V host for Opmanager VM host machine
I have Opmanager installed as a VM running on Microsoft Hyper-V (Windows Server 2012 datacenter).I cant seem to add the host server that is hosting the Opmanager VM. It doesn't recognize. All other host server are added successfully except the server hosting the Opmanager VM. Any Help would be very much appreciated.
