Opmanager 10 and DHCP devices
I have an opman v10200 and a lot of devices with DHCP maanaged IP addresses. Every time when the device gets new IP from DHCP I have to go to opman console and change IP of this device manually, because opman keeps old IP in its DB. Any chance to make opman use host name and DNS for resolving device IP? Thank you!

Hi, I have installed ManageEngine Service Desk+ MSP v8.3 Build 8309 (serving on port 8080) on a MS Windows Server 2008 R2 Build 7601 Service Pack 1 server, using MS SQL Server 2014 as the database. This server is a stand alone server NOT part of a Windows Domain. Active Directory authentication has NOT been enabled, neither has LDAP authentication. All users must log in manually. When I remote desktop to the server in question I can log in and browse around the Service Desk application as normal

Unable to start SD on W2k12
Hi I have been trying to install SD on Server 2012 R2 and have not been successful. The initial install goes well but starting of the service after install never works. I have uninstalled manually (where is the uninstall on 2012? - it installs under C:\ManageEngine, not under Program Files) and deleted the service and the registry and re-installed three times and the starting of the service always hangs on "Application Layer Started........" I then tried the run.bat method and it also failed to start.
built in admin logs on by default - allowing anyone to logon with full admin rights
It appears as though the built in admin username and password are cached somehow such that they are the default value for all users - who are able to login with now full admin rights even though they don't actually know the password! We didn't realize this previously as we only had a single user license being used by one person, but we have now purchased additional licenses and are rolling it out - and found that all users could log on as admin and it was the default. Urgent assistance required!
Custom Views - Technician filter
When trying to create custom views using the technician filter, no technicians are in the list just 'none'. his as this We have tried this on multiple browsers, cleared the cache, restarted the application and renamed the extracted folder. Check whether the Automated Close is enabled under Admin\Request closing Rules. 2. Update Broke Webserver
Hello all... so... OM was running on an old version v10... We decided it was about time to update... So after verifying that everything was working in OP we started the update... First to Build 11100 and then 11500... but after starting the service the webpage for OM was dead... So times we were able to see the URL change from localhost to localhost\login.do? (something .do) we shutdown the service and manually started it... didnt work... we even changed the port... still didnt work... so we downgraded
Report module not working after apply the latest patch (9.0 Build 9043)
After apply the new bundle patch "ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_9_0_0_SP-0_43_0". we are unable to run the report. When we click on report it shows bellow error. After apply the patch we have seen that one file(jasperreports-2.0.5-javaflow.jar) added on location (E:\ManageEngine\ServiceDesk\server\default\lib). We have stop the service & remove this file. After that start the service , now report is working. But again we have kept the file on that location and restart the service. now report is
Cannot change SQL Server monitoring
OpManager 10100. Server with Hyper-V role. Discovered as Virtual Host (it really has one guest VM). Then i added SQL-server monitoring to this server. Now i cant change this -- when i'm trying to Add new performance monitor every setting i configured in MSSQL section is grayed out. See attachments. How to change Thresholds or remove SQL monitoring from this server?

Hello team, With reference to the SDF-57601 : Option to configure Multiple mail Ids for requester I've just installed the latest updates and i could add another email address to the requester but after testing, it worked once on my test environment. However, when I tried to use it on the production environment, it doesn't work... The requester still gets the emails only on the primary email address. Any idea why is that happening? Problem upgrading to SDP Build 9001
Currently at version 9000. When I try to upgrade to 9001 it gives me the following message: JRE upgrade is pending. Start ServiceDesk server once and try applying the patch. I start SD server and try to upgrade and get the following error: Shutdown ServiceDesk server and then try applying the patch. I should mention I am upgrading originally from 8213 to 8217 then 9000 and now finally 9001 all in the space of a few hours with no server reboots. Can I please have some help? Thanks.
REstoring DB goes wrong.
I want to change my DB from MySQL to MSSQL. I made all the insrtuction, but database isn't restoring. Cannot Edit / delete Resolution templates from Admin tab
We can create Resolution Templates but these do not show in the Resolution Template section on the admin page, just shows blank space. This means we are not able to edit or delete these templates. We have tried deleting then browser cache and cookies and have also renamed the extracted folder. Please advise. Using 9.0 Build 9044.
ServiceDesk won't start
Hi Since couple of day, our SDP is not working anymore. I use the batch startSDP and it hangs each time at specific point 89%. on the startout.log file I see repeat "resquestScheme is http". I tried some of debug process find in this forum without any positiv result... Updated to the last release, same way. Multiple incoming email addresses causing issues.
I'm having essentially the same issue as this https://forums.manageengine.com/topic/email-address-in-cc-field . For my example see below its complicated in to type up the steps to reproduce but I'll do my best. Essentially we have multiple incoming addresses that feed into a single mailbox. So a user can send an email to support@domain.com, tech@domain.com, techsupport@domain.com, tech.support@domain.com etc. The issue is I can only add a single address under incoming mail lets say support@domain.com.
Mail Fetching STOPPED
Every now and then on our instance of Service Desk Plus MSP the mail fetching decides to stop and we need to manually go back in and restart it. This has happened a couple of times now and can mean tickets go unnoticed until someone realises the service has stopped.

Hi, This just happen to us 2 days ago. Our technician suddenly cannot see request that have been logged which they previously can. Our setup is as follows 1. The role for our technician is to be able to view "All in group & assigned to him[Request only]". 2. They are also restricted by their site. 3. Certain Services in the service catalog is associated to their group. Therefore, rightfully, the technician should be able to see all service request that are associated to their group and in their site

HELP please! ManageEngine Services on Server keep Stopping.
No one is currently able access our ServiceDesk Plus MSP system because the Services on the Server have stopped. I have connected to the server and tried starting the Services. They sometimes start, but before I can access the portal the services stop again. Any advice on what I can try to get our system working again? The installation is on a Virtual Machine hosted elsewhere. We are running version 8.3 8301 (I think - can't access currently to confirm).

Dell warranty status failing on all machines
Anybody else having trouble with Dell Warranty statuses not being pulled automatically via service tag. Our installation of Desktop Central is new but it appears that our Dell machines are showing warranty as expired, the warranty date field is empty with a SCAN button. When clicked, no results.

Manage License Problem
Hi I´ve just recently started with my ServiceDesk Plus - On Demand setup. Seems like a great cloud solution. I have one issue wich i can´t seem to resolve, it seems like a problem with the Product. Whenever i try to Manage my license I go to the "Subscription Manager". Within the manage license page, I choose the option i would like to purchase. Now, it doesn´t really matter what option i choose to upgrade to, I´m just left with a small Square saying "Purchase Details" with no other text or option.

Stuck at Ready to execute
Hi We got a big problem with this software, and that is that the status of a configuration is very often stuck at "ready to execute". This problem is related to both software and patch configurations. I know the computer or computers are online, they got the client, firewall accept the right port, and software/patches has been deployed to them earlier. But suddenly, it stops working. Last update time is not being updated?
Dear colleagues, in our installation of Servicedesk Plus, the Last update Time is not being updated when I, as technician, respond to a ticket, I do see the Last update time still the same. The only way to get this field updated is to change status of the ticket itself, which is not always what we do and how we work. I expected, that when I respond to the ticket, this Last Update Time is recalculated. How to correctly set this up? We use ServiceDesk Plus version 9.0 Build 9031.

Administrator cannot see all Service Catlog Service templates
If a Service template is created and set to a specific group, then the administrator cannot view these templates. We do not want to add the administrators to these groups, they should be able to view all of these regardless.
