Any one else unable to download Ms18-MAR2 24074 ?
I can download it from MS but my patch DB is failing when trying to dl. The rest downloaded just fine. I did notice that this patch DB shows that patch as 16 megs but MS has it at over 300. Seems 16 meg for a rollup is very small.

Removal of SCCM Client Script
Hi All, I am getting ready to deploy our Desktop Central client to all of our workstations, but i wanted to have something ready to uninstall the existing SCCM 2012 client from each computer once the DC Agent is installed. I have a batch script that i found on SpiceWorks that works great when its ran as an administrator locally on the machine, but when i setup a script configuration in DC it says it executed successfully, but it never did anything. I am trying to figure out how to get this to run
How can I disable the - License limit has reached for customer - emails?
I'm running DC-MSP and did a client rollout this weekend. After the rollout I began receiving alert emails from Desktop Central informing me that i have exceed my license limit. I emailed the licensing group yesterday but have yet to hear back. In the meantime I have received almost 200 copies of the same message and it shows no sign of slowing. My questions: 1. Desktop Central and Remote offices
When our original setup was done they created a remote office under all of our customers that contains our servers. Is it possible to move those servers/remote offices out from under those companies and into a new one called EX: Data Center? For clarity here is an example. Company: NASA Remote office name: Data Center (all servers for NASA are here) Multiply this by 32. I want to move these to one separate company so that I can control access better.

Desktop Central Build #10.0.183 new search button
Is there any way to revert the search button back to the old textbox as the new button is already a nightmare, the search is used daily be all staff to find devices and now you have to click first on the button, type the computername and then select 'computername' before being able to find a device. Doesn't seem much but doing this 10, 15 times a day isn't pleasant.

I've been using Desktop Central for about two years now. When I came onto my job, we were using a mix of WSUS and Desktop Central. I have since scrapped WSUS and stuck with Desktop Central for both 3rd party software installment as well as regular monthly Windows updates. Everything seemed to be going well as Desktop Central reported that all of our systems were up to date after I would run updates month by month. Ticket system issue?
Hi everyone I no longer receive the "[##123456##] Your ticket has been created" emails when I open tickets with ManageEngine. These emails used to arrive within minutes after an email was sent to desktopcentral-support@manageengine.com. Last week was the first time I noticed this. Is anyone else seeing this? Thanks, Stefan
Configuring a network printer error
I am trying to configure a new network printer, but am always getting an error "Shared Printer Addition Fails: The Data is Invalid" This used to work. Any ideas what the error means and what data is invalid? It happens with any printer I try to configure (even ones that worked in the past)

Shared Printer Addition Fails : The data is invalid.
I receive several messages for multiple computers that Shared Printer Addition Fails : The data is invalid. It would be nice to know what printer is failing. I tried to open a support ticket but, desktop central is not listed as a product in the ticketing system. Most of the computers should have the printers install all ready if that helps you narrow down the issue. 10.0.189.

We use both Desktop Central and Service Desk Plus. Our users submit tickets using the Desktop Central Agent. Sometime a while back, the address that is used for the attached images was changed to use the Mobile device Management Address. Because this is an external address, we can not see the attachments without changing the address to the internal server in the browser. I submitted a ticket and was told that this is an enhancement to allow for external access but this does not work for us.

Desktop Management Agent is missing some german translations
Hi, i installed server and agent in german language, but i noticed not all notifications which the end user gets from the installed agent are translated into german language. - So when the agent tells the end user at his computer that there are some patches to install (with the buttons "start now" and "skip"), this end user update notification is not translated in german at all. - So an end user who does not understand a single english word is not able to understand what this notification is about.

Patching "The operation completed successfully" but system still listed as vulnerable
Hi, I've got several systems where the patch "307159 TU-017 Updates for Google Chrome (x64) (64.0.3282.186)" was deployed and appeared to work (the application is updated) -- the remarks field says "The operation completed successfully" but doesn't disappear and the machine remains listed as vulnerable. I have tried rescanning, rebooting the endpoint and rescanning, and updating the patch DB. It's not a huge problem because the machines are protected, but it does make my compliance reports inaccurate.
Securing agent WAN access
Hi, sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - I'm struggling to work out how I can properly secure agent communication from a WAN network (the internet). I have looked at the forwarding server, but it seems to require a split DNS setup which is not possible in my situation (I am part of a much larger organisation and do not have that degree of control over our DNS, and the majority of my systems including the DC server already are assigned public IP addresses, but are behind a firewall) Is there
File Manager poorly designed
1. Date format does not follow account setting - I use DD/MM/YYYY, but file manager shows MM/DD/YYYY and when you try to sort using date columns, it sorts by month first which is totally useless. The rest of the GUI for Desktop Central seems to adhere to my format 2. Cutting files within same volume uses copy/delete and thus wastes time as well as risking a timeout from the browser - a "move" should be instant on the same volume 3. Don't use the word "cut", use "move" - this isn't a word processor
New search in Build 10.0.183
The new search in Desktop Central Build 10.0.183 is not functional. It now requires loading a page and selecting from a drop-down to find a computer. Is there a way to change the default behavior of the search button? Some of the updates are for the better, but some are becoming troublesome.

If possible if would be great if you could get a report of an MDM device's mobile data usage. Similar to what you can see in the data usage screen under a devices settings if you physically have the device.
After software removal, software still reads in desktop central as being installed on assets
In our office we've had an issue with Plangrid being auto installed on all the computers and causing issues. So recently we finally worked out how to remove it and stop it from being auto-installed. However, after doing this desktop central still shows all the computers as having Plangrid installed. Doing a scan doesn't change the reading. Reinstalling the agent doesn't change the reading. The only solution I've found so far is to completely remove a computer and then re-add it, only then does Plangrid

How do you tell what the previous configuration in progress is? I know of no other configurations in progress.
Windows update deployment error: The identities of the manifests are identical but their contents are different.
I have one system that needs a specific update however no matter how many times I try the update I get the error message: The identities of the manifests are identical but their contents are different. I was able to download the update manually and install it, however Desktop Central doesn't see the update as being installed. I even ran a patch scan afterwards. Any suggestions? Thanks -Kirk

All patches that have "http://software-download.microsoft.com/pr/Win10_1709_xxxx.iso" location inside PMPatchLocation SQL table are failing with download.. looks like microsoft blocked direct downloads.. please fix it.. Also why is DC re downloading already present patches in repository? Also why patch for CHINESE Simplified 1079 Win10 is downloading english ISO?
Help, can't turn off Lost Mode.
We have activated Lost Mode on a phone which has been found but we are unable to turn off lost mode on the web interface. When we go to Stopping Lost Mode will disable the device lock. Specify the reason for stopping Lost Mode. type in a message and click 'Stop lost mode' nothing happends. The button clicks but the window stays up on the screen like it didn't actually do anything. We are running Build Version:92302 Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
Patch Severity Settings
Does the Patch Severity Settings get reset when we apply a patch to Desktop Central as we have it setup to our requirements but it keeps changing and I can't find anything within the audit log to indicate that someone has changed it from what we require.

Hello - New to DC. The desktop team already uses DC to patch workstations. I'm testing it to replace Shavlik for Server patching. Is there a way to separate the patches for approval between workstations and servers including 3rd party patches?

No Support from Desktop Central Team
Our Desktop Central Server is not working since yesterday. This is after enabling OTP option within the Server. Noone attends the calls in Desktop Central. Email support is dead slow. We still have a downtime since yesterday evening and looks like noone is able to respond to us. This is the worse support I have ever faced with the product we have used so far.
