Adding domain account to Desktop Central fails
Hi, everytime I try to add user accounts with active directory authentication it fails. I was trying to add all the administrator accounts for them to be able to work with DesktopCentral. Is there a way to add the whole group? Thanks in advance for your support.
Distribution Server Stopped After last upgrade
After last Desktop Central Upgrade (10.0.394) my distribution servers are in stopped status. Services are running in every distribution server. We restart the service and the distribution started again but stopped again after few minutes or seconds. The event viewer shows a dcreplication.exe fail.
Issues after 10.0.395 Distribution Server Stops and Unable to Search in Reports
Ticket # 5388220 After upgrading to 10.0.395 I am seeing a couple issues. All of my Distribution Servers have stopped working. The executable in the bin file is missing and the service will not start. You cannot use the search function to filter in the reporting section. Need this fixed ASAP as I am unable to push software or patches to any of my remote offices!
How could I filter Microsoft Store Apps out of a scheduled software inventory report?
I would like to create a weekly report showing our software inventory of any software that does not have an access type assigned and is not a Microsoft Store app. As far as I can tell Software Type is not a field for software reports and there is no way for me to add Microsoft Store apps to a category that I would be able to filter out of the report. Any ideas?
Desktop Central build version
Hi, I have DC version installed 10.0.394. When I click on build version it says me that Desktop Central is up-to-date. But when I go to this link https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/service-packs1.html - it says that the latest version is 10.0.395. The question is why my server says that it is up to date if it is not?
unable to remote control after update to 10.0.394
After update to 10.0.394, I am unable to remote control when connect using https (8383) port. A new windows open, and I get "Your connection is not private" error, with no option to proceed.
Patch Mgmt Error code documentation
I've googled and searched here but am unable to locate any good information as to what this error from Desktop Central means. The referenced assembly is not installed on your system. I have a handful of machines with this message on an update or two. When i check those machines, I do see the update sitting in the patches folder. I've checked the dcpatchmgmt.log and see the entry for it there, but it's not telling me what is missing or what's being looked for. Is there more information on this error

I google about this but found only old threads saying that I need to record a normal install first and provide that record-file to the "/s" switch of the setup when doing an unattended install. Weird bug in latest version (10.0.395)
Just updated to the latest version as above and most things seem to be working fine and look ok. I am hitting a strange bug that seems to occur across all browsers and on different machines. Basically - If you search for a computer name using the main search button (greenbox spyglass icon) and type in a machine name and select computer name it will show you the result. Office 365 Patches Not Applicable
It looks like if you have SharePoint Designer 2013 installed, Office 365 updates will show as "Not Applicable". Noticed my computers stopped getting office patches since that was installed.

I want to deploy patches during business hours (7 to 5 Monday through Friday) but only reboot to install the patches (when required) outside of business hours. Is that possible in a deployment policy or will I have to create a deployment policy that does not reboot, then create a scheduled task to reboot?

Hi, today I noticed that the patch-reports section under "Reports" has fewer entries than the patch-report section in the scheduled reports wizzard. Is this a bug or feature? BTW: We're using the german language version.
OS Upgrades 1803 -> 1809 Attempt to Apply Twice
Good Morning, After application of an OS upgrade via the "Feature Upgrade" packages, any deployments including the feature update for that machine attempt to apply again. I am not sure what is causing this behavior, but it looks like with the OS upgrade, ManageEngine does not remember that the deployment was applied, and attempts again. Uninstalling Software Silently
I am having an issue with Minitab 17.3.1.0 silent uninstall.I am able to silently install the software with no problems. I have about 88 installs to update to version 18.I can install version 18 silently with no problems. When I try to silently uninstall 17 the status show Not Applicable - Deployment Skipped. When I run the msiexec command right on the test computer it removes the software almost instantly with no UI. I can't figure out what I am missing. Ed

So we're trying to automate patching servers When testing we noticed after a server is done installing updates it reboots but then it does not check for updates again, DC only seems to do one wave of updates. We then created 2 deployment times on the same day 9AM-12PM and 4PM-8PM This time after rebooting it did the updates again but only with our 2nd deployment time however after everything was done, I logged in again and the server still had more pending updates. Popup boxes with SelfService Portal after upgrade to 10.0.368
After upgrading to the latest version (10.0.368) our users are now getting 4 popup boxes when they open the SelfService portal. 1st box is a long Alpha Numeric string with an OK button 2nd box is "Zoho Corporation private Limited" with an Ok Button 3rd box is a repeat of the first 4th box is a repeat of the second After you click "ok" in the final box the Selfservice portal window does show up and is functional. The problem is our users think there's an issue and are all calling our service desk.

For this purpose I created manual driver repository, downlad drivers from vendor official support web-page, extraxct and put them to shared folder. After "update driver repository" process those drivers appeared in "Discovered drivers" tab and avaiable to select. But i noticed that field "Computer manufacturer" and "Computer model" are empty. Error while deploying template configuration in Desktop Central
Hi All, We have run into an issue after upgrading DC to .368 that trying to use Custom Actions - Resolve Requests Using Template in which the error above appears on templates that had worked previously. Self Service Portal closes after a few seconds
Hi guys, I have the feeling that since the new version of Desktop Central (10.0.386) the SelfService Portal crashes/closes after a few seconds. When I try to reopen it the same thing happens again. I am trying to associate licenses to a specific software with no success. The amount of licenses is correct and I have filled in all the other information and added the license file. When I click to associate to machines nothing shows. Not sure If am doing wrong but the summary page doesn't show the license as used.
Delete registry value doesn't check if value exists and runs into an error
Hi, I'm deploying a configuration to disable autostarting an application by removing its autostart entry from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Since I don't know on which machines the autostart is enabled I'm deploying the config to all machnies but on machines without this registry value the config exited with an error "The system can not find the specified file". Which looks like there is no check if the value exists before dc tries to delete it.

citrix patch download
My server can not download the newest CitrixReceiver4.9.600.exe patch from https://downloads.citrix.com/15913/CitrixReceiver.exe?__gda__=1556884353_5e4db8c1d31feb05ca0291217462e29d when i went to citrix website and download the update and tried to upload it I got invalid checksum. I also had issue download the citrix workplace patch. I noticed that the site it is download from is different. I tried to download from https://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-receiver/windows-ltsr/receiver-for-windows-ltsr-latest.html.
