Can I alert on Diskspace?
I recognize that opmanager can monitor and alert on diskspace usage. But as desktops all have the DTC agent, and DTC does have disk usage recorded, is there a way I can alert based on disk usage in Desktop Central? If so how? I have not spent much time on the reporting in DTC, and think I'll spend my next focus on that. Thank you
Wake On LAN Report
Is there a way to run a report to identify those computers we have on our network that are not WOL enabled? From my understandining in order to push a patch to those computers turned off we can do the WOL option, but only on computers that have this enabled. I was hoping I could identify those that are enabled or those that are not enabled. We could then go and turn the WOL on the computers needed from a list instead of touching every computer in our network. Thanks, Rita

Hello, It would be very useful to us to have the ability to manage computers-by-domain. I recognize that I can "sort" computers by domain, but I would like the ability to add technicians to Desktop Central but only allow them to manage computers: > By Domain and as a subset of that top level distinction > By Operating System (ie, servers -vs- desktop) We have 10 Desktop support persons that have separate responsibilities by location. Why does this happens. Please explain.... service.exe executes dcconfig.exe executes cmd.exe executes reg.exe reg.exe then creates a binary file in c:\program files\desktopcentral_agent\logs called "dcagent.reg" It appears you are pulling down the registry values for your agent as a backup or as documentation for support (if needed). Please confirm. Also, is there any way to stop this? We are trying to tighten down reg.exe.

Custom Scheduled Patch Report
Need to simply create a report showing the following columns and scheduled to run daily. Im in change of a set of computers and want a report tailored to my computers, showing the following columns, computer name being filtered to a handful of computers, not all. computer name | last boot time | disk free | number of missing patches Cant find a built in report or query that can give me these results. disable windows update locally
I saw it and ill be darned if i can find it again. However i saw where i can block users from using windows update locally on their computers using security settings in DTC but i cant find that setting in DTC. Mind pointing me in the correct direction? I thought it was under configurations > security policy > user> but i cant find it.. I am pretty sure i am just looking past it. Thanks!!!
How to disable "New software is Available" notification?
I need to sometimes use "Allow User to interact with the installation/uninstallation Windows setting" when deploying software to computers. Everytime I use that setting I get this shown to user before the deployment starts. How can I disable this notification? Deployment settings configured like this:

Hi, we are evaluating Kaspersky Business Select. After AV-Client installation users report using outlook and especially public folders is very very slow. Desktop Central Remote Office Syncronization kills WAN
I see in scope of management I can reduce the default synchronization speed for each individual remote site. That's nice. but why does it try to sync all at the same time to all the remote sites. it kills my WAN, there has got to be a way to fix this m isn't there ?

Agent Deployment via GPO Startup Script
Hi I'm having problems deploying the Desktop Central Agent via a GPO start up script. I have followed the instructions to the letter, but cannot understand why it isn't working. Inventory schedule scan not working after 92041
I noticed since updating to 92041 that my schedule inventory scans is not working. Also the inventory page recently installed software is not updating. I checked some pc's and the inventory scans is working but not scanning them during the scheduled scan time and not updating the summary on the inventory page. My scheduled scan is set for daily at 9pm. The recently installed software showing installed software from the 4-25 which is the day before I updated to the newest build.

When we update the DC Vulnerability DB, scan the systems, patch the systems, if necessary boot the systems, and scan them again, DC (sometimes) shows this systems as "Healthy" and does not find any missing patch at that time. Error in PowerShell Deployment Script
Hi In Software Deployment \ Templates there is a deployment for Microsoft PowerShell for Windows 7 SP1 (x86). The VB script to deploy has a couple of typo's that cause the target to reboot immediately after installation. There are two lines that have "/NORESTAR" . The letter T needs adding to the end for it to work as expected. As a side question, is it possible to detect what PS version is installed? Computer\Software Inventory doesn't list it. Thanks Mark

Auto Notify Users to Reboot Post Patches
Since we are a 24/7 shop with Police and Fire Departments, I would like to use the Patch Management to download and apply patches, but not reboot. I would like to configure the patch management to notify the users if a reboot is required post install of patches. Is there a way to auto send notification to users to reboot their PC as part of the patch management process?

Re-adding machines from AD
I have noticed (and been informed by ManageEngine) that if you go to SoM and delete a machine, or if you have the settings set up to delete inactive machines after x days, you cannot re-add from AD, you have to do it manually. Is there a way to disable this, or do a 1-time sync to import? Problem with Desktop Central Patches and ESE Endpoint AV missing updates
Hi, We're encountering with a problem with patches. Our corp antivirus is NOD32 and have one functionality that shows us missing updates on OS. For a few weeks Desktop Central shows all clients are updated but our AV tells us that no, that are missing updates on our Systems. I've looked at db patch to see if it was updated and finally i've looked for the KB missing on my Desktop Central DB. And the fact is that those KB are not on Desktop Central Database so I suspect that are still not implemented

Schedule a Reboot of Computers requiring a reboot
I'm trying to figure out a way of scheduling a reboot of all the machine that require a reboot and with the DTC agent up\active. After patching there are always a number of machines that need a reboot but users do not always log off and switch off at the end of the day . software deployment question.. copy files with software install
Scenario: We need to install software. The software requires files to be copied to the root of all existing user folder's and to the root of all new users that would login. here is the folder path: C:\Users\<local user name>\Unisys\WebEnabler. I'm asking how to best set up a configuration or set of configurations to accomplish this task. My gut says that I need to add some kind of script to the Post-Deployment Activities in package creation but I'm at a loss on how to configure such a script.
Desktop Central Forcing Windows 10 to reboot
Good Afternoon, Is anyone aware if this is a know issue? A couple of members of staff have said that since upgrading their machine to Windows 10, Windows Updates have been forcing themselves through (even though this never happened on Windows 7) and they are also getting a prompt after a Windows update has been applied (without their input) to sat their machine will restart in 15 minutes, with no option to postpone the restart. Last week I installed hotfix Build 92073. After installation desktop central services will not start. I have rebooted server few times with no results.
