some patches marked as not approved
I have the patch database set to automatically approve patches but I noticed today that a bunch of patches from March 8 were marked not approved. Is there a reason why half the patches this month got marked not approved? Most the patches not approved are Microsoft office but some windows 8 and windows 10 patches are getting flagged not approved. See my screenshot for example.

Actually some users complaining that their users ID always get locked out due to our police of three times incorrect password the user will locked out, but the user does not know on which computer someone is trying to logon by his user , so please can you assist me how to get the computers names on which the users is failed to logon and caused it to lock out.

hi Team, I'm trying to find the users for windows 7 workstation. I was able to pull the "Currently logged in user" However the fields "Last Logon User" and "Computer Owner" were blank. Any idea why these fields are blank?

Technician administraton
We were going to add some new users to our DTC environment but wanted to limit their access. My intention was to be able to create them jobs they could push out. However it seems that the write feature gives them full access to any one area and read does not allow them to execute anything in any given area. Is there any middle ground where a user is given rights to execute but not create jobs created by an administrator?
MySQL database
Was the server worked well, it was a Windows Server 2008 R2, and one day the mother burned, move to another platform with Intel did not work, the Windows does not start, reinstall the screw on the other, now we need to pull the database from the old axis. What actions can be solve the issue?

Ideas on deploying patches to freshly imaged systems.
I was curious if anyone uses DesktopCentral to do this? Our desktop support team uses SCCM to image/deploy new systems and re-image systems. The current method of deploying patches to these new systems is creating a task sequence and deploying a group of updates. This is time consuming however since that group of updates has to frequently be repackaged to add new updates. Until that is done it leaves a mess of patches that need to be manually installed after the system is imaged. We would like
Patches takes forever to install
We have configured automatic patch updated and my user community has been noticing that the patches takes forever to install. For instance, 30 updates will take hours to install. We are using top of the line hardware so I know that's not the issue. I have also noticed that each patch seems to create its own Windows Restore point. This means 30 patches will have 30 restore points created. Seems a bit excessive and is probably contributing to this issue. Does anyone have any ideas how I can speed
At My Wits End with Desktop Central - Cannot Package and Deploy Software
When Desktop Central works, it's fantastic, but I find that 90% of the time, it just doesn't work and the chat now staff it 100% incapable of actually solving any issues. Current iTunes package for Desktop Central Self Server Portal is broken
Last night I created a package using the most current DS template for iTunes (12.6.0.95) (x64). The package was created successfully and was added to the Self Server portal on the desktop successfully. When I went to install on a desktop this morning - I hit an error right away via the Portal stating that a file could not be found. Upon inspecting the package within the Desktop Central - I immediately noticed that whoever created the package script - made reference to a file called iTunes6464Setup.exe

Roaming WAN Agents - how do they update distribution server information?
Can someone please clarify for me how it is that a WAN agent changes the distribution server it receives content from? From the documentation it states in a few places that the Agent will be installed from the Distribution server if it senses an IP Subnet change? what I am understanding from that is that the DC Agent gets fully installed at each different location the user visits? Or does the agent just update some configuration files that contain the new Distribution server settings? My
Warranty/Shipping Details not populating
The vast majority of the assets in my site are not populating with the shipping or warranty expiry date, despite having the appropriate service tag loaded in. It has a mix between mostly Lenovo, Dell, and HP PCs. The odd thing is that it DID load for some of the Lenovo and Dell PCs. Please help! Having this load properly would help tremendously in our lifecycle management process.

mySQL data calls for third party applications
We have multiple reports set up to auto generate a wide array of data points. The issue we have is, that even though it works it is spamming the heck out of people. Also we require multiple reports to build a data point that we are looking for. Its simply data overload and at that point the data can be overlooked or ignored by the end user. Currently a connection of some sort is required to deploy certain types of scrips using DTC. This could be a logged in user or a active RDP session. In an environment ruled by end user desktop/laptops that seems fine however in an environment comprised of only servers where there should be minimal direct log ins that makes that particular module rather useless. For example: I have Adobe Flash Player 19 ActiveX 19.0.0.185 used in the configuration "basic laptop" and the configuration "presentation PC" When Adobe releases a new Adobe version i would like to change all configurations which includes Adobe Flash Player 19 ActiveX 19.0.0.185 and replace it with the newer version. There is this setting in deployment policies: Download Patches/Software during subsequent Refresh Cycle How this should work? When I configure this with software deployment it it never downloads anything before the actual deployment starts.

What does your deployment policy look like?
I am in my third round of testing and figuring out how to make use of Desktop Central for Patch Management (MS and Third Party). I'm interested in hearing what you have done as far as creating a reasonable deployment policy for your users, as I'm having trouble choosing the when and how! I'd like to just have one and communicate how it works to my users, but will of course have multiples if it cannot be avoided. I am in a 9-5 office environment and computers may or may not be turned on overnight.

Trying to get our external laptop users hooked in. I've got Desktop Central set-up in the manner below. Could someone tell me what settings I need to change in order to get this done? Because of the nature of our business I cannot allow direct access to the Central Server from the internet. Custom Groups crashed after License-renewal and upgrade
Applying new License File to DC with upgrading to 500 Computers crashed the handling of Custom Groups. If i'm going to manage Custom Groups /admin/customgroups and select a Group to view, DC initially shows all Group Members and the correct count of them. Exporting this to PDF generates a Document stating "No Computers managed". Even if click on a ColumnHeading to sort the shown GroupMembers, the list disappears and i get the message "No Computers managed". Going to /inventory/computers and selecting
Different Domains
So I've set up a test Desktop Central server in my DMZ. Question. I'm not allowed to have traffic requests from inside the DMZ to the inside Lan and the Domains are different. IE. When logging into a server in the DMZ I would log in with bwhitson@XXXXXDMZ.COM When logging into a server not in the DMZ I would use bwhitson@XXXXX.COM Does anyone know of a way to pull user and computer information from the inside DC to the DMZ machine?
Java i586 patch not applicable to 64-bit OSes
My users use 32-bit browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox) on their Windows 7 Pro 64-bit operating systems. The patch named "jre-8u65-windows-i586.exe" (Bulletin ID TU-053) returns that it is not applicable to this OS. My users need the 32-bit Java patch for their 32-bit browsers. Is there a way to override the applicability to an OS?
