Missing Reports from Free Version
I installed the product a while ago for evaluation and it has now lapsed into the free version. Most of the reports are no longer available. I'm only managing the IT support guys for now, and I was going to show a few of the reports to our director, but they are no onger available. I thought that most of the AD reports would be available. Is there something I need to do?

We are having issues with updates being sent to the machines and run and after performing the update, the machine still reports that the update is missing. This has been tested several times and has failed every time. The update we are currently having an issue with is Patch ID: 90092 PatchName : WindowsXP-KB920872-x86-ENU.exe Is this normal to have all the problems we are having with this tool? Why are workstations shown as down when they are actually up? I am unable to install agents on these workstations (even manually).

Random Reboots ---- In the middle of the "Download In Progress" status for deploying patches, the DesktopCentralServer just reboots itself for no reason. This has happened at least 3-4 times today. We need resolution on this problem in order to continue use of the product. Bryan Dent
No Response
It has been nearly two weeks since I spoke to someone that was supposed to have an engineer call me to discuss a large amount of issues we are experiencing with your software. No one has bothered to call or send an E-mail to provide an update as to when this is going to take place. I would expect that by the end of the week if we do not have some closure on these issues we will be requesting a full refund for the money invested in this tool that does not seem to be helping us out at all right now.
64-bit Support
It appears that the latest release of desktop central still does not support 64-bit machines. When is this going to be supported. 64-bit machines are slowly being more widely used. Without this support soon, this tool will be useless within our organization. Bryan Dent

Need to remove a computer from the scope
Dear All, I've inadvertantly during a install of a machine, called the machine the wrong name, I finished, and Desktop Central automatically installed, I've correct the computer name to the correct one, but it is still showing within the scope, I would like to remove it from the list, as it keep showing me it is offline, etc, I know it is, it doesn't exsist anymore. Configuration can not deployed and Patch Mgt Tab Disappears
I installed DeskTop Cent. in Windows XP and made all basic settings, my problem is when I make a configuration and click deploy , it takes long time and does not confirm , after that I find the configuration in draft mode when I try to click deploy again gives me the same result but the strange thing aftre that the Patch Management Tab disappears and also Proxy Settings , and Mail Settings icon in the Admin page. please help on this the customer uses Ternd Micro Office Scan Enterprise in his network

Logging into MEDC from IE7
Whenever I try to login to MEDC from IE7 it will kick me out and I have to login again. After the second login try I can actually get into MEDC but as soon as I try to go to any options IE: SOM page, it kicks me back out and I have to login again. It does this repeatedly. Thanks.

Desktop Sharing Failed
When tryting to use desktop sharing in desktop central connected through the internet on port :8020 we receive the following error. Connection failed invalid socket. It looks like it is going to work but get this error just before remote desktop comes up.
Patch Management
We are running a demo of Desktop Central. We are trying to deploy patchs to client machines. The server appears to be running well and says it is sending the patchs to the clients, and then waiting in the ready to execute mode. We have rebooted the client but the status does not change. Also when looking at the client in the c:/desktop central/patchs folder we find the patch file in the folder but it is 0 kb. Please Help

Failed RDP connection
I am using RDP to connect to remote computer. I also have a ping on that PC while trying to connect. As soon as I enter the my username and password and hit connect, the ping times out and the remote connection locks up and eventually shows a disconnect icon on the top right of the screen. Is there a solution to fix this.

I have deployed a software install to a specific system to test the abilities and is listed as ready to execute but when I go to that system there is nothing? What do I need to do to get the software to install? I hope this makes sense!

Hiya Great software, just what i was looking for. Just one thing as i plod through it learning everything is when under "add user" in user configurations, when it executes it says "user not found" do i need to add the user to hte AD first and then modify the user with desktop central or should it be adding a user? help removing desktop central
I tried Desktop Central once then Removed it since it was a trial copy. ever since then the Desktop central folder keeps appearing on all the computers that I installed the client on. I've deleted the folders but they keep reappearing. help

cant deploy patches
chaps im trialing DesktopCentral and ive setup a very small scope of 1 PC. Im trying to deploy a patch to it, but without success :-( I get right through scanning the pc and getting the patch and creating a config, but thats where it goes wrong. It just sits with 'ready to execute' on the screen. Ive restarted the pc where im trying to install the patch several time and nothing happens :-( could you enlighten me on what im missing thanks Ojo
